If you like, we will post your stories here
Here are some names from his prior contractor licenses in California and other sources
This should be a listing of his various contractor license numbers he has had or been associated with
clicking on the license number should take you to the CSLB page with the full association
sadly the CSLB doesn't list all complaints or even judgements
This link should get you to the same list although it may not be all of the licenses he has had.

Here are some experiences

Under bidding

We were new to construction and trusted our contractor (big mistake.) As I understand it now, contractors bid for things like like door knobs and sinks using allowances. Usually the bid will cover the basic model but if you opt for a more expensive model you have to pay out of pocket.
Steve Bid for the utilities, septic system and flatwork (concrete for driveway etc) using allowances.
Whats the big deal you may ask? Well most people aren't going to upgrade those items too much. In fact I haven't heard of too many people every upgrading a leach field. Oh and also, Steve's bid was grossly under the actual cost, so when it came time to do that portion of the construction, we were asked for a check.
ITEMSteve's bidAprox Actual Cost
Utilities*3,50048,000
Septic4,20017,000
Flatwork**5,00033,000
(*)Utitilties: This was just for trenching the driveway, road and running conduit. Did not include all of the fees. We eventually found a someone to do it for 10k less
(**)Flatwork: We actually wanted some extra work, but I subtracted 5k from Steves price to account for that
In addition to all the fees and everything else, we had to come up with 95,000 out of pocket.
Had we known about these hidden costs we would have got them put into the home loan, or more probably gone with another contractor

Still not finished

Steve Fisher's contract stated he would be finished in 240 days. It has now been a year, and he is still not done. In fact for the past five months, it seems he does about four days a work per month, just so we can't claim that he abandoned the project

Forgery, Fraud...

Steve Fiser submitted a draw request for around $80,000 without our knowledge. He photocopied our signatures.
An FBI agent described this as fraud
A deputy D.A. described this as Forgery and possibly federal wire fraud and federal bank fraud since it was done across state lines
